Road to Mangart Saddle

Mangart is 2679 meters high mountain in Julian Alps. It is the fourth highest mountain in Slovenia. It lies on the border with Italy, so it attracts many mountaineers from both countries. We can come to Mangart Saddle from different directions: from direction Lake Predil (Trieste), from direction Trenta (Vrsic) or from direction Bovec. Triglav

Triglav is the highest mountain in Slovenia and the central part of Triglav National Park. Triglav is 2864 metres high and is located in the Julian Alps. It is a symbol of Slovenia and we can see it in the Slovenian arms. Logar Valley

Logar Valley is located in the centre of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. It is considered for one of the moste beautiful glacial valleys in Europe. Logar Valley was created in the last Ice Age. The Logarska dolina Valley was already inhabited in the 13th century, but the road was built only in 1930. Piran - Tartini Square

Piran is a wonderful old port town in Slovenian Istria. The city preserved the medieval plan with narrow streets and squeezed houses, which gives it the special charm. Tartini Square is the centre of Piran and the largest square. It got the name by the Giuseppe Tartini (1692 – 1770), the famous composer and violinist.
