You can choose between 44 new confortable beds, located in 10, 8 or 4 mixed dorm. Every single room has its own bathroom with shower and WC. Free WiFi in every room and also free computer use in lobby. Free bed linen, no lockout, no curfew, we have our own BBQ area. At reception desk is also Leisure Activities Centre, where you can get all the tourist information, including bus/train timetables and all the information about the sights within Slovenia. Location
From Bled Jezero train station take a taxi or take a walk to the centre of Bled where our hostel is positioned (cca 2km = 25min). After approximately 25 minutes of walk you'll see a sports stadium on the left side and the road to the castle on the ride. You shall cross that road and follow the uphill road for about 5 minutes. You'll be able to see our orange painted Castle hostel 1004 on your left. From Lesce-Bled train station take the taxi or take bus. The cheaper option is to take a bus that goes from Lesce at least once an hour. Get off the bus on the second stop in Bled. From Bled bus station hit the uphill road for about 150m. On the right side of the road you'll soon be able to see a Pub 1004. Our hostel is right behind the corner of the building and it’s painted orange. From Airport Letališce Jožeta Pucnika. The cheapest one is to take the bus to Kranj and then again a bus directly to Bled. If you travel in a group it is the most convenient to take a taxi.

The Vintgar Gorge is situated in the road from the Bled over Spodnje Gorje, Podhom and the small village Vintgar. We can park car before the gorge, there is a big parking place. The Blejski Vintgar Gorge is open from the end of the April till the end of October but it depends on the weather situation. The gorge is open from eight to seven in the afternoon. When you go on a walk around Bled, you can see hills above the lake. These hills are Straza, Ojstrica, Dobra Gora, Osojnica, Kozarci and Kuhovnica. They are for walkers who are searching peace and rest. Signposts for Little and High Osojnica and Ojstrica are seen by main road from Zaka to Pristava.
