Koper is the biggest town on Slovene coast. The city has two official languages, Slovene and Italian. The old town centre has been preserved with is cultural monuments, which bear witness to the town's rich history. The most important attractions are the Pretorian Palace, the Cathedral of the Assumption, the Rotunda of St. Elias, etc. The Marina Koper is an important North-Adriatic port with a wide harbour complex.
