Piran is a wonderful old port town in Slovenian Istria. The city preserved the medieval plan with narrow streets and squeezed houses, which gives it the special charm. Piran has high town wall, from where is a wonderful view to the city Piran, sea and Italy in the distant. It was intended for defense. It has slightly inclined slope. It is easly accessible from the town centre and worth seeing. Piran was surrounded with the wall in the 7th century.
