Lake Bled - Velika Zaka

The Velika Zaka is located in the north side of the Bled lake bank. The Velika Zaka is in the summer time the popular place for bathing, which is visited by many local people and tourists, because here is also the Camping Bled. The baths in the Velika Zaka are mostly grassy and are situated just near the lake. There are showers on the beach. The grassy area is available also across the main road in the case of the larger visit at the weekends. In the nearness of the baths is available the macadam parking place. Children can play in the small playground. In the Velika Zaka they have restaurant, shop and bar, where they have sweets, ice cream and other refreshments. In the range of the Camping Bled guests can use the small zoological garden, playground for children, place for table tennis, volleyball, basketball and other. From the Velika Zaka you can go for a walk in the direction to the city centre or to the Mala Zaka, where you can see the interesting villa Solncnica and stands.
