Piran is an amazing old Mediterranean town with Town Walls, located on the Gulf of Piran. It is one of the most beautiful towns in Slovenia. The city has preserved the medieval layout with narrow streets and compact houses, giving it a typical Mediterranean look. The coastal part is a lively promenade with many restaurants, bars, a smaller harbour and a scuba diving centre.

The Hotel Piran is located between the old town and the coast and has stunning sea views. The Hotel Tartini is located on the famous Tartini Square in the centre of Piran.
