Potocka Zijalka Cave is situated by the path from the mountain village Podolseva to the top of the Olseva mountain. Olseva is about 5 km long rocky ridge, which is the last part of the southern range of Karavanke. On the ridge goes the old regional frontier between Styria and Carinthia. Potocka Zijalka Cave is 115 metres long and from 20 to 40 metres wide karst cave, which was in 1928 discovered by Srecko Brodar. In the Stone Age was in the cave the hunting post. The place is very important paleontological and archaeological site. In the cave they dug up the skeletons and remains of 40 animal species, many of them were skeletons of cave bears. In addition, they found also found scrapers, stone milling tools, fireplaces, about 120 species of bone points and other. Spikes are very different in length, but are similar in form. Among these finds is the most prominent the oldest European needle. From the Potocka Zijalka Cave alos originates the whistle.
