Idrija - Park Mejca

Park Mejca is located near the newest town of Idrija. It is a popular recreational and social point for local people, which are gathering here in the free time. Across the river Idrijca are made many hanging bridges, which make the easiest access to the Park Mejca. In the park are football field, tennis playground, roller-skating playground and other. Near the Park Mejca is situated the shopping centre, Kamst – water wheel and start of the walking path along Rake. The walking path goes in the nice forest shade at water channels and about 2 kilometres leads us to the most famous natural sight lake named Divje jezero, which is one of the largest karstic spring in Slovenia.
