Idrija is a town, which is mostly famous above mining, lace-making trade and natural surrounding beauties. Lapajne and Vodnik Street are situated in the newest part of the city. In this area are Sport Park Stanko Bloudek, Primary School, Lejnstat, Inzaghis's Shaft, Tourist Information Centre Idrija, which is in the renewed engine room of Inzaghis's Shaft, bus station, bank, Sweetshop Gabron, Primary School Idrija and other.
Engine – export device of Inzaghis's Shaft is from the year 1891. Until the year 1952 was powered by steam engine, later was converted to electric drive. Near the Primary School Idrija is the bridge over River Idrijca, which is intended only for pedestrians. In the Tourist Information Centre Idrija we may get lots of information about town, accommodation, restaurants, get a map with marked cultural and natural attractions as well as all other information. The Sport Park Stanko Bloudek is named by the local resident, which was famous as the inventor, athlete, builder, designer and aerospace pioneer.
