Koca na Mangrtskem Sedlu Mountain Hut lies 2055 meters above sea level in the wonderful slope of the Mangart Saddle. It is situated in the former frontier, which is now hired by the Alpine climbing association Bovec. It was open in the year 1983. It is open from the beginning of July till the end of September. There are 24 seats, 25 common beds, in 5 rooms 28 beds, washroom with cold water, toilet, aggregate for electricity, rainwater and other in the mountain hut. The place is warmed with the stove. The first hut was built in the years from 1873 to 1875.
Between First World War was partially destroyed and after that was renovated in the year 1924. The German army burnt down the mountain hut between the Second World War. The Alpine climbing association Bovec built new mountain hut after the liberation close to Mangart Saddle and it was opened in the year 1956. Mangart Saddle is the starting point for hike to Mangart, which is the fourth highest mountain in Slovenia. It lies 2679 meters above sea level. There are two main paths to the Mangart, Italian and Slovenian Way.
