The Osterberger's Wine Cellar is named by the first owners, Franz and Constanza Osterberger, who bought a house at auction in the year 1890. They also got the right to open a coffee house. Family was in the hotel till the year 1945, after that became the owner the state. The wine cellar accepts to 40 guests and in the vinotheque you can buy top Slovene wines. Periodically the wine cellar introduce well known winegrowers and their wines with the cultural and social programme. In the wine cellar are available top quality Slovene wines. In Slovenia are three winegrowing regions, which are Podravje region, Primorska region and Posavje region. The Podravje region is by producing of wine on the second place, after the Primorska region. Podravje region is famous in particular for its white wines. You can try wines like Renski rizling, Modri Pinot, Cvicek, Rumeni Muskat, Merlot, etc.
