Secovlje Salt-pans are one of Slovenian and world's remarkableness. They are important ornithological area with partially preserved autochton vegetation. In the year 2001 were announced for Nature Park. They are paradise for birds. The speciality of the salt pans are not only the birds; basins and dykes of Secovlje Salt-pans are one of the last resorts for vegetables and other lovers of the salt. In Salina Square you can go to the viewing platform, from where is a wonderful view to salt pans and surroundings. In this part are also storehouses and other buildings, Projection and Multimedia Hall. In the halls is represented the history of saltpans. In the Visitor's Centre is shown the model of Secovlje Salt-pans for blind and weak-eyed people.
