Devil's bridge is located above the Tolmin' Gorge, which is the most southern entrance point in Triglav National Park and the most important natural sightseeing of the Tolmin municipality. Tourist paths were made in the years from the 1953 to 1958. In the year 1907 the Tolmin mayoralty built Devil's bridge and the road from the village Zadlaz to Cadrg. To the village was before leading only the narrow path over the footbridge at the bottom of the water channels. At the beginning the bridge was wooden, later, at the Italian authority, was replaced with the iron construction. Devil's bridge is a frequent name in Slovenia for bridges, which leads over the dangerous and narrow hollows. You will cross Devil's bridge no matter in which way of the circular path at Tolmin's Gorge you will first go. If you go from the entrance point to Devil's bridge, you will need to there about five minutes walking. From the bridge is a wonderful view to water channels, which were made over the centuries by the river Tolminka.
