By the Lake Ptuj is situated the Marina Ranca, which is the only and the first marine on the land in Slovenia. Marina offers 60 permanent moorings for sailing boats and other boats with the draft 1,3 metres and less. To visitors are available the panoramic sailings with the tourist boat Cigra, which accepst 25 passengers and sails after the fixed time-table. From the boat is a wonderful view to the old town centre of the city Ptuj. In exceptional instances is possible to rent it for the concluded groups. In Marina Ranca is the Ranca bar, which offers hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice cream and coctails. In nearness is the playground for volleyball with the sand, handball or football, where every year in summer time organize Beach-Master, which is the large international sports spectacle for lovers of volleyball. Besides they also organize the state championship in kayak, the event Veseli avgust, Rancarija, boat-race Jadro Rance and many other.
