Star Maln is located near Vrhnika in Bela Valley. At the beginning of the century stood here the old mill and after that the place got the name Star maln. It is a popular place for pleasure trips, which attracts many locals and other visitors. We can come to Star Maln with a car, leave it in the parking place and then walk few meters. You can also leave a car at the beginning of the path and walk on marked paths, which is also a circular way. Along the way we can see the brook Bela. In Star Maln is located guest house and beside it are natural baths, which get water from the spring of brook Bela – Lintvern. In the house they offer wide selection of snacks, sweets, fishes, salads, grilled meat and other delicious food. They also offer catering and rooms. Beside the house is a playground, picnic area and other. Opening hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12 to 22, on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 to 24, on Sundays and holidays from 10 to 20. From Star Maln we can also go to Lintvern, a typical karstic spring, from where we can continue the path to the mountain Planina. On Planina is a shelter, which is in the nearness of the peak of the mountain. There is also a 20 meters high lookout tower, which is maintained by mountaineers. From the top is a nice view to Triglav, Kamnik Alps, Nanos and Sneznik.
