Piran is a city full of streets and tightly packed houses. Rozman Street leads to the city walls, offering a magnificent view of the entire city. Along the way you pass the First and Second Raspor gates. Down Gortan Street, head down towards the center of the old town and arrive at Brotherhood Square. Among you can see an interesting stone house and an old villa. Piran was sometimes surrounded by the city walls, which adapted in shape to the medieval way of warfare. Seven city gates have been preserved, former entrances through the city walls. The first Raspor gate was built in Gothic style. The second Raspor gate was built in 1470. It has prominent stone door hinges and a distinctive pointed arch.
